With a week of Christmas Baking only days away... I have been checking the cupboards to ensure I am stocked and ready to go full force!
Sadly I am completely out of Sweetened Condensed milk, and only have 1, yes one coupon....(tears, I know)... So I headed to my trusty friend GOOGLE and found the following Recipe:
1 cup instant -non-fat dry milk
3 tablespoon melted butter
Combine all ingredients in a blender, Blend until smooth. Store in a cold place until ready to use.
This is equivalent to a 14 ounce can of eagle brand milk.
Now to determine exactly how much the savings are! Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed milk normally costs in excess of $3 a can... so Today I will be doing some price comparisons!
